Pageshore Terms of Use
Effective 7 November 2026
On this page
These Terms of Use (the "Terms") are an agreement between you and MOBIXIFY LTD (Mobixify, "we"), company number 16138122, and govern your use of Pageshore (the "app"). Contact: info@mobixify.com. Company information: mobixify.com/company/. By downloading or using the app, you accept these Terms.
Apple's Standard EULA
If you get the app from the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA") also applies to you. These Terms add to the Standard EULA. If they conflict on a matter that the Standard EULA covers, the Standard EULA prevails. Apple is not a party to these Terms: we, not Apple, are responsible for the app, its support and any claims about it.
Stores and other companies
Apple and Google distribute the app in their stores. The app also uses services of other companies, for example for book details and covers, ads, purchase checks and updates. Each offers its service under its own terms, and your download and purchases are subject to the store's terms. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for these services or for their uninterrupted operation. This does not affect your legal rights or our duties under the Privacy Policy.
Licence and use
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on devices that you own or control, in line with these Terms and the terms of the store you got it from. Please do not copy, change, sell, rent or distribute the app, reverse engineer it except where the law allows, or get around its purchase checks, and do not use it unlawfully or in a way that infringes the rights of others.
The app and everything in it (its code, design, name and logo) belong to us or to the people and companies whose software or content it includes. Open-source software keeps its own licence; it is listed in the app's Settings. We may use suggestions and ideas you send us about the app without payment or credit.
Books, covers and your notes
Book details and covers come from an independent online book catalogue. They may be incomplete or out of date, and covers belong to their publishers and designers. Book titles and other product names are used to identify books and apps; Pageshore is not affiliated with them.
What you write in the app, including the notes and quotes you save, is yours and stays on your phone. When you share a year-in-books card or export your notes, you choose where it goes; please share other people's words and covers in a way the law allows.
Free and Pro
Shelves, the reading timer, a yearly goal and a summary of the current month are free. Pro adds reading statistics, the year-in-books card, import from a CSV file, export of notes and quotes, widgets and themes, and turns the ads off. In the free version you can choose to watch a short ad to open one Pro statistic for the time shown before you watch. Pro is offered as a monthly or yearly subscription or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Plans and their prices are shown in the app, in your local currency, before you buy. Prices may change; if the price of a running subscription changes, Apple or Google will tell you and, where the law or the store requires it, ask for your agreement before the new price applies. If Pro ends, your books, notes and reading history stay on your phone, and the free version's ads return.
Subscriptions and lifetime purchase
Payment. You are charged through your Apple or Google account when you confirm the purchase.
Automatic renewal. A subscription renews automatically for the same period at the price that applies at renewal unless you cancel in time: on the App Store at least 24 hours before the end of the period, on Google Play before the renewal date. On the App Store the renewal charge is taken within the 24 hours before the period ends; on Google Play it is taken at renewal.
Cancelling. You can cancel at any time in the subscription settings of your Apple or Google account. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the current period, and Pro stays on until then. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Lifetime purchase. It is paid once and does not renew. It unlocks Pro for as long as the app offers Pro features. If we stop offering the app or its Pro features, we will tell you in advance and say what happens to your purchase. This does not affect your legal rights.
Restoring. You can restore your purchases on a new device with the Restore purchases button on the Pro screen, while signed in with the account that made the purchase.
Refunds
Purchases are billed by Apple or Google, and refund requests are handled under their refund policies and applicable law. After the first 48 hours, Google Play refund requests are handled by us, and we do not give refunds for a change of mind. When you ask Apple or Google for a refund, you consent to our sharing information about your purchase with them, so that they can decide your request. You can withdraw this consent at any time by writing to info@mobixify.com. If you are a consumer, your legal rights, including your rights if the app is faulty or not as described, are not affected.
Your data and backups
Your books, notes and reading history are stored on your phone. If you delete the app or lose your phone, they go with it unless they are in a backup, such as your phone's own backup.
Availability and changes
We may update the app, change its features or stop supporting older versions, for example to fix problems, keep it working on new versions of iOS and Android, improve it or meet legal or store requirements. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you in advance about a change that makes a Pro feature you paid for significantly worse. If we stop offering the app or a paid feature, we will say so in the app and on the store page a reasonable time in advance. This does not affect your legal rights.
We may suspend your access to the app if you break these Terms or the store's rules, if the law requires it, or to protect the app and its users; where we reasonably can, we will tell you why and give notice first.
Warranty and liability
We do not promise that the app will work without interruption or errors; how it works also depends on your device and its operating system. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranty beyond what these Terms and the law say.
If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms takes away your legal rights. Digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described; if it is not, you may be entitled to a repair, a replacement, a price reduction or a refund. If we break these Terms or fail to use reasonable care and skill, we are responsible for loss or damage that was foreseeable.
Nothing limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to limit.
Governing law
These Terms and any dispute about them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If the law of the country where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts or to rely on its mandatory consumer rules, that right is not affected.
Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms for a valid reason: a change in the law or in Apple's or Google's rules, a change in the app (such as a new feature or a new way to buy), to fix a mistake or make a term clearer, or to keep the app and its users safe. The new version applies from the effective date shown on this page. We will tell you in advance, in the app or in the release notes on the store, about a change that affects you. If you do not accept it, you can stop using the app and cancel your subscription as described above.
General
If a court finds part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest stays in force. If we do not use a right straight away, we can still use it later. Only you and we have rights under these Terms; no third party can rely on them. Apple's rights under the Standard EULA are not affected. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. This section does not affect your legal rights as a consumer.
