Timeworn Privacy Policy
Effective 7 November 2026
On this page
The short version
Timeworn is a game for players aged 13 and over. You can play it as a guest, with no account. If you choose to sign in with a Mobixify ID (through Google or Google Play Games), we keep a cloud save of your progress. You can send us feedback. We do not sell the data we hold. You can delete your Mobixify ID in the game or by e-mail, and ask us about your data at info@mobixify.com.
Who we are
The controller is MOBIXIFY LTD (Mobixify), company number 16138122. Contact: info@mobixify.com. Company information: mobixify.com/company/.
What we collect, why, and on what basis
| What | Why | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Sign-in (optional). The sign-in ID the provider gives us (not your name or e-mail address), a random profile ID, a random profile name made up by our server, dates, language and game version. We check the provider's proof of sign-in and do not keep it. A sign-in session keeps you signed in. | To give you the sign-in and cloud save you ask for. | Contract (our Terms) |
| Cloud save (if you sign in). Your game progress as one file (such as unlocks, upgrades, achievements and statistics), your platform and recent backup copies. | To let your progress follow you to another device. | Contract |
| Feedback. Your message, an optional rating and contact e-mail address, technical details (such as game version, device model, language and connection type), a random install ID and, if you are signed in, your random profile ID. | To answer feedback, fix bugs, improve the game, limit spam. | Legitimate interests; your consent for the contact e-mail address |
| Technical data and messages to us. Your IP address, request times and standard device details; what you write to us. | To run the service, limit abuse, protect accounts, check for updates, and answer you. | Legitimate interests |
We need the sign-in data to offer sign-in and cloud save; the game works the same without them. Feedback and a contact e-mail address are optional. Where we must answer an authority or defend a legal claim, we also rely on legal obligation and on our legitimate interest in protecting our legal position. We make no decision about you by automated means that has legal or similar effect.
Technical logs. Our servers keep short-lived technical logs, including your IP address and the User-Agent header of each request, which names the app or its network software and its version.
Store update check. When the app starts, it checks whether a newer version is available through Google Play and through a request to our server. Google handles its part as a separate controller. Our request is not linked to your account.
Sign-in providers. Where your phone is already linked to Google Play Games, the game may sign you in with it without a tap, once your age answer allows it. You can turn this off in Settings under Mobixify ID, or by signing out. Google's Play Games software may also sign you in to Play Games on its own; Google handles that as a separate controller and nothing about it is sent to us.
On your device. Your progress without a sign-in, your settings and your answer to the age question stay on your device and are not sent to us. A device backup made by Google may include this data.
Who receives your information
- Our own team, which operates the game, reads feedback and answers support requests.
- Service providers that process data for us on our instructions and must protect it as this policy describes: hosting and e-mail.
- Google, as a separate controller, for sign-in (Google, Google Play Games) and the app store. Its own privacy policy applies to the data it holds.
- Authorities, advisers and others, where the law requires it, to protect safety or to defend legal claims. If we sell or reorganise the business, data may pass to the new owner under this policy.
We do not sell the data we hold or give it to advertisers or data brokers.
Transfers outside the UK
Your information may be handled outside the UK, including in the United States. We rely on the UK-US data bridge for certified recipients, the UK Addendum to the standard contractual clauses where a provider's terms use it, and otherwise the UK's standard data transfer terms. Email info@mobixify.com for a copy of the safeguards.
How long we keep information
We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for and to meet our legal duties.
- Mobixify ID profile and cloud save (with its backup copies): until you delete your account. A profile not used for 24 months is deleted. Signing in, or the game using your sign-in, counts as use.
- Feedback: 24 months after we receive it, with your contact e-mail address removed after 12 months.
- Messages to us: 24 months after the last message. Records of data requests: 3 years after we close the request.
- Other data: logs, security records and backups are short-lived, and sign-in sessions end when you sign out, after a period of inactivity or when you delete your account. Data on your device stays until you uninstall the game or clear its data.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to your personal data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict its use, and to receive a copy in a portable format. Where we rely on legitimate interests, you can object at any time, and we will stop unless we have compelling grounds or need the data for legal claims. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect what happened before.
To use a right, write to info@mobixify.com or use Account and data requests (mobixify.com/account/). For a profile, tell us which sign-in you used and your profile name; we may ask you to confirm the account is yours. We will reply within one month (up to two more for a complex request, and we will tell you why). Ask Google and Google Play Games about the data they hold.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your personal data, tell us first at info@mobixify.com. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days, look into it without undue delay and tell you the outcome. You can also complain to the Information Commission (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
Delete your account and data
This section is the web route for deleting your Timeworn account and its data. You can delete your account at any time:
- In the game: open Settings, then Mobixify ID, tap Delete Mobixify ID, read the warning and confirm.
- Without the game: write to info@mobixify.com with the subject "Delete my Timeworn account", and tell us which sign-in you used (Google or Google Play Games) and your profile name. We may ask you to confirm the account is yours, and we will reply within one month.
Deleting your Mobixify ID deletes it in every Mobixify game and app where you used it: your sign-in IDs, every profile and the sessions. For Timeworn that includes the profile and the cloud save with its backup copies; in a Mobixify game with purchases, for example, it also includes what you bought there. Deletion cannot be undone, and deleting the game from your device does not delete your account.
We keep, for the periods above: feedback you sent (to have a message, your install ID or your e-mail address removed, write to us with roughly when you sent it and a few words from it); the record of your request; and short-lived logs and backups. What Google and Google Play Games hold about you stays with them.
Children
Before it offers sign-in, the game asks one yes-or-no question on your device: are you 13 or older? The answer stays on your device. The game is meant for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly hold personal data from children under 13, and if we learn that a profile belongs to a child under 13, we delete it. Parents and guardians can write to info@mobixify.com with any concern or to have a profile deleted.
Security
We protect your data with encrypted connections and limits on who can reach it. If a personal data breach puts your rights at risk, we will tell you and the Information Commission (ICO) as the law requires.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the game handles personal data in a material way, we will update this page and its effective date before the change takes effect, and say so in the release notes on the store.
