About Scanday

Scanday is a document scanner with a small set of PDF tools. Scan paper with your camera or import photos and files, tidy the pages, save them as a PDF or JPG and share them. No watermark, no account, and your documents stay on your device. There are no ads in the app at the moment.

Scan and tidy

  • Scan paper documents with the document scanner that is part of your phone's system; the page edges are found for you
  • Import photos and files you already have
  • Crop, rotate and reorder pages, and delete the ones you do not want, before you save
  • Scan as much as you like: there is no limit, and no export has a watermark

Save, share and keep

  • Export as a PDF or as JPG images
  • Share with any app, or save to Files
  • Your library lives on your phone: rename documents, search them by name and delete them
  • Scanning, editing and the library work offline, with no account (on Android, the first scan needs a connection once)

  • Compress a PDF to the file size you need
  • Draw your signature on a PDF, place it where it belongs and keep it saved for next time
  • Free includes one merge or split a day and a basic compression preset; Pro removes the limits and adds signing

Scanday Pro is optional. Scanning, importing, page editing, export, sharing and the library are free, and scanning itself does not need Pro. Pro adds unlimited merge and split, compression to a target size you choose and signing. Choose yearly (with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers), monthly, or a one-time lifetime purchase. There is no weekly plan. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and vary by region.

Private by design

  • No account. Your scans, imported images and PDFs are stored in the app on your device, and Scanday does not upload them
  • A document leaves your phone only when you share it or save it somewhere yourself
  • Optional usage statistics and crash reports help us fix bugs. They never include your documents, images or file names, and where the law asks for permission they stay off until you allow them

Questions before you download

Does Scanday put a watermark on my documents?
No. Free and Pro exports are the same clean pages, and scanning itself is not limited or locked behind Pro.
Where are my documents stored?
On your phone, in the app. A document leaves your phone only when you share it with another app or save it somewhere yourself.
Can I sign a PDF with Scanday?
Yes, with Pro. You draw your signature, place it on the page and save it for next time. Scanday puts the signature you draw onto the page; it does not check identities or issue certificates, so use it where a drawn signature is enough.

A note from the makers

We built Scanday for the moment a piece of paper has to become a PDF and you do not want a watermark, a sign-up or a weekly plan to get it. Scanning, page editing, export and your library are free. Pro pays for the heavier tools: merge, split, compress and sign. We chose three plain plans, a yearly one with a 7-day trial for new subscribers, a monthly one and a lifetime one, and the app shows the price before you buy.
